Posted XMaps 210, containing a lot of improvements to the network-capable HUD menu, and a couple of other fixes, as a beta release.  This version includes a file called "XMaps Beta - Important Notes.txt" that describes how to use XMaps 210 in multiplayer games.

There are a bunch of updates on the Beta Releases page dealing with the Findings So Far.

I've been really stuck for time this week, I'm afraid, but I've finally found time to update the Beta Releases page with the findings so far from the beta testers out there.  Their feedback and kind encouragement will make the network HUD menu a real possibility, although I'm afraid I'm no closer to a public release just yet.  Hopefully I'll get time to work on XMaps this weekend, and I may be able to come up with an estimate of completion after that.

Well ... excellent news.  It's taken a lot of hard redesigning, but the network-capable HUD menu is done.  I've only been able to test it with a local dedicated server and client, but everything is working just fine.  I'll probably post a beta release for this - I need to find out the best way to set XMaps up on installation for server use, and update all the documentation so people find it easy to use.  If you're running a server and wouldn't mind helping me out with a beta, please drop me a line.

Added 'Turn Favourites On/Off' to the HUD menu.

After I got a few emails from visitors to this site, I've re-implemented the styles used so that you can change the text size using the Text Size options of most browsers.  To be honest, the site wasn't ready for public access, but since ModSquad posted the URL in the review of XMaps 208, the hits have started coming in.  Looks like I'll be setting up the site quicker than I thought!

As a result of the rather unexpected launch, you'll notice a few missing parts of the site like the Site Information and Development links.  I'll get these up as soon as I get the chance ... in the mean time, thanks for your interest in XMaps!

A minor update ... the Site Information page is done...
